The Country Kitchen Café & Lodge, a closed café with letting rooms has been let through leisure and hospitality property specialist Sidney Phillips.
The property (more recently known as The Horseshoes Café) is situated in the quaint Lincolnshire hamlet of Byards Leap, renowned locally for its association with various legends of the Knights Templar. The Country Kitchen Café & Lodge is well-known for being the main amenity within the hamlet, nestled between a vehicle repair shop and a caravan park, between the towns of Sleaford and Newark.
The premises briefly comprises an open plan café trade area, fully fitted commercial kitchen, five double letting bedrooms, front trade patio and car park.
Zaine Lamont, Regional Valuations Manager for the Eastern Counties handled the letting and commented: “The Country Kitchen Café & Lodge represented a wonderful opportunity to operate a sizeable café and accommodation venue, located adjacent a busy A road. I want to wish the new tenants the best of luck their new venture moving forward”.
The premises will now be operated by a husband-and-wife team hailing from the Towcester area in Northamptonshire.
Sidney Phillips let The Country Kitchen Café & Lodge on a new free-of-tie agreement, off a leasehold asking price of £15,000.
