Central Lincolnshire pub and restaurant sells again

The Plough, a popular community public house situated in the central Lincolnshire village of Walcott, has once again sold through specialist pub agents Sidney Phillips.

The property is situated in the quaint Lincolnshire village of Walcott, located in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, approximately 2 miles north of Billinghay, 7 miles northeast of Sleaford and 15 miles southwest of Horncastle.

The Plough Inn benefits from trade hailing from the surrounding residential areas and further afield locations, including the towns of Sleaford and Horncastle. The property previously hosted several sports teams, including pool and darts, and holds regular celebratory events such as birthdays, christenings and weddings.

Zaine Lamont, Regional Valuations Manager for Lincolnshire and the Eastern Counties, handled the sale and commented, "After purchasing the property via ourselves in October 2021, our client reluctantly informed us he wanted to offer the property for sale due to ill health. I'm extremely pleased to assist in finding a new purchaser and wish our outgoing client all the best for the future."

This three-bedroom public house benefited from a commercial kitchen, car park, three internal trade areas and two trade patios.

Sidney Phillips sold The Plough, Walcott, off a freehold asking price of £285,000.
