Closed pub in Pontyclun sold after multiple offers received

A closed public house in the village of Llanharry in Rhondda Cynon Taf has been sold by specialist pub agent Sidney Phillips following multiple offers and “Best & Final Offers”.

The village of Llanharry stands on the edge of the renowned Vale of Glamorgan, the M4 corridor some 6 miles from the town of Cowbridge. Located at its centre is the Bear Inn, a property of some character and having many period features. It offers three separate ground floor trading areas and two bedroom owners accommodation above. There is a catering kitchen and good enclosed rear trade garden as well as a seated area adjacent to the front entrance and some car parking.

Following an extensive national marketing campaign Sidney Phillips received multiple offers to purchase the property, with the sheer number of bids leading to a “Best & Final Offer” situation.

The freehold interest of the Bear Inn has been sold off an asking price of £185,000.
