The Thatchers Arms, a destination food-led pub and wedding venue situated in the village of Mount Bures in Essex, has been sold through licensed property specialist Sidney Phillips, for the second time in 5 years.

The Thachers Arms is a superbly presented freehouse and wedding reception venue, well known for its views over the surrounding rolling countryside. Benefitting from two bar and dining areas (104) as well as a modern function room (100) and trade terrace (100+), this property is a rare find.

Robert Cockayne, Regional Valuations Manager for the London & South East handled the sale and comments, “The sale of the Thatchers Arms continues to show the market’s strong demand for quality free-of-tie leases, even in rural areas. We wish our clients the best with their other pub business, and the ingoing lessee well with their new venue.”
