The Buxhall Crown situated in the village of Buxhall near Stowmarket has been sold through specialist leisure and hospitality agent Sidney Phillips.
The Suffolk property which dates back to the 16th century benefits from three intimate trade spaces with features including log burners and low ceilings, giving the venue a welcoming and relaxed ambience.
The sellers have operated the Buxhall Crown since 2012 and during this time have created and established a 'destination food led fine dining venue' offering a selection of true British cuisine which included an a la carte menu with fresh and locally sourced ingredients, combined with a plethora of real ales as well as rare and exceptional wines. This resulted in the business receiving extremely positive reviews on the Mobile Food Guide, AA Travel Guide and Gastro Ranking where it sat at number 1 out of 123 other establishments within the mid Suffolk area.
Zaine Lamont, Regional Valuations Manager for the Eastern Counties handled the sale and comments, “I am delighted to finalise the sale of the Buxhall Crown. A special congratulations to our outgoing clients Shaun and Fiona who after 10 years at the business, have now moved on to focus on other ventures, I wish them both all the best for the future. The purchasers are experienced operators with a track record of success, having taken the lease of the Willows in Cressing through Sidney Phillips in 2019”.
Sidney Phillips sold the Buxhall Crown off a freehold asking price of £375,000.
