Historic pub in Upper Calder Valley let

The Shepherds Rest, a destination food-led pub situated in the village of Lumbutts, Todmorden, has been let by leisure and hospitality property specialist Sidney Phillips.

The charming two-storey, country inn located on an old pack horse route that traverses the southern side of the Upper Calder Valley, dates to the 1850’s and features a main bar, private function rooms and restaurant. The property also boasts stunning 360-degree views of the valley and sees much trade from walker visiting the nearby Stoody Pike and Gadding’s Dam, a reservoir set at 1150ft and often dubbed as Britain’s highest beach.

The property further benefits from spacious four-bedroom owners’ accommodation, large car park and children’s play area.
