The British Flag, a community local pub situated in the market town of Macclesfield in Cheshire, has been sold by licensed property specialist, Sidney Phillips.
The British Flag is located in the Cheshire market town of Macclesfield which lies on the River Bollin at the edge of the Cheshire Plain, between the cities of Manchester and Stoke on Trent. The town has a rich history and was once famous for its weaving industry and dubbed the ‘silk capital of England’.
The two-storey, end-of-terrace property, situated on Coare Street at the edge of the town centre, features an attractive four-section trade area for 40 which is of much character and charm, spacious two-bedroom owners accommodation and enclosed courtyard for 10 patrons. The property was constructed in the early part of 19th century and was a Ginger Beer Brewery in the 1860s.
Additionally, the property had planning permission for conversion to a single dwelling.
Sidney Phillips sold The British Flag off a freehold asking price of £250,000.
