New operator for characterful Herefordshire pub

Licensed property specialists Sidney Phillips have successfully brokered a new lease for the Queens Head in Kington, Herefordshire.

The Queens Head occupies a Grade II listed public house that dates back to the 17th Century. It retains a wealth of period charm and character and is known locally as a traditional wet-led pub. The pub comprises of a two bar operation with six bedrooms above.

Although the business has been run as a wet-led venue for many years, it does offer the scope for a new operator to introduce a food offering from the fitted trade kitchen, as well as reconfigure the upper floors to provide letting bedrooms.

The Queens Head has been let on a new 10 year free-of-tie lease to a first-time buyer.
