Specialist Pub Agents, Sidney Phillips have successfully completed on the letting of The Victoria, located in the village of Hockering adjacent to the A47 close to Dereham, Norfolk.
The Victoria has for many years operated as a wet-only public house, however is now to be taken over by an experienced couple relocating from Wells-next-the-Sea where they have traded the renowned Lifeboat Inn for over 5 years. The incoming party aim to develop the commercial kitchen in hope to offer their famous Danish cuisine that worked so successfully in their previous venue.
The Victoria occupies a detached brick built pub believed to have been built in the early 1900’s. The venue benefits from a sizeable front car park, open plan trade area and lawned rear trade garden.
Zaine Lamont, Regional Valuations Manager for the Eastern Counties handled the assignment of the lease and comments, “I am proud to welcome the new owners to The Victoria. They bring with them a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality industry as well as a different style of food offering that the immediate area is currently lacking. I am sure local residents and destination diners alike will be keen to book a table and experience a taste of Denmark.”
Sidney Phillips sold The Victoria off a Leasehold asking price of £33,000.
