The Hearts of Oak, a closed former community pub situated in the East Suffolk coastal town of Lowestoft, has been sold through licensed property specialist Sidney Phillips.
The business most recently traded as a tenanted community public house, benefitting from a traditional food menu and an array of live events and sports teams. Occupying a sizeable three-storey semi-detached property, it is centrally located within the town on Raglan Street, only a short walk from Lowestoft’s High Street.
Zaine Lamont, Regional Valuations Manager for the Eastern Counties oversaw the sale and comments, “I am extremely pleased to complete on yet another disposal for Admiral Taverns and am glad this once empty premises will now be occupied by a new licensed business.”
The Hearts of Oak has been purchased by a family operation hailing from the Warwickshire area, who’s plan it is to establish an Asian themed restaurant drawing custom from the surrounding residential areas as well as destination trade from further afield.
Sidney Phillips sold The Hearts of Oak off a Freehold asking price of £200,000.
