The Spread Eagle is a detached two-storey pub located on the busy A617 road between Newark and Mansfield, where it sits proudly as the only public house in the village. The property benefits from two bedroom private accommodation, car park, fully fitted commercial kitchen and beer garden.
The Spread Eagle has been under the seller’s ownership since 2015, during which time they built a popular food-led public house benefitting from destination trade from the neighbouring towns, as well as a loyal following from the residents of Hockerton. The business has recently ceased trading however previously focused on a traditional menu comprising of pub classics and Sunday lunches, as well as regularly hosting a number of events included quizzes, live music and celebratory occasions.
