Prominent roadside pub in Yorkshire sold

The Horseshoe Inn, a closed pub situated in the town of Easingwold in Yorkshire has been sold through licensed property specialist Sidney Phillips.

The Horseshoe Inn occupies a prominent roadside location in the Georgian market town of Easingwold, located close to the A19 and approximately 12 miles north of York. Easingwold is a popular town with large residential areas and a selection of local amenities.

The property comprises of a bar, games room, two bedroom accommodation and outside trade area.

The business closed during the Covid-19 pandemic and did not reopen due to the owner’s desire to retire, however Horseshoe Inn operated as a traditional public house 100% wet led and used to enjoy various pool teams, dart teams and poker teams when it was open.

Sold off an asking price of £310,000, the premises has been sold for alternative use and work is expected to start shortly in converting the property into a dental practise.
