Leisure and hospitality specialist Sidney Phillips has announced the successful lease assignment of the Victoria Tavern in Isleworth.

The Victoria Tavern is situated in the suburban town of Isleworth, located within the London Borough of Hounslow in West London. It lies on the boundary of St Margarets and the River Thames, equidistant between Brentford and London Heathrow Airport. The area boasts a number of amenities and attractions including a vibrant shopping centre, Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, Syon House, Syon Park, West Middlesex University Hospital, Osterley Park and House (National Trust) and the Sky Studios. The area greatly benefits from employment and income from three major sports venues located nearby, being Twickenham Stadium, Twickenham Stoop and the Gtech Community Stadium (Brentwood FC).

The Victoria Tavern is a traditional corner plot public house, situated in a residential area. It is understood to date to the 1910’s and has been subject to consistent investment by the outgoing owners. It has a traditional two bar operation, three bedroom owners accommodation and quaint trade courtyard to the rear.

Regional Valuations Manager, Robert Cockayne, conducted the sale and commented: “The Victoria Tavern is as a wet-only community public house which enjoys a loyal, local drinking trade. It offers the new owners a great opportunity to build upon the established trade and continue its regular live music events.”

The leasehold interest of the Victoria Tavern was sold off an asking price of £50,000.
