The Black Horse, a closed public house situated in the south Lincolnshire village of Gosberton in Risegate near Spalding, has been sold through leisure and hospitality agent, Sidney Phillips.
The Black Horse is an attractive two-storey detached public house that benefits from being located on Siltside, adjacent to the Risegate Eau which flows through the village. The Black Horse benefits from a front car park, rear trade patio, two internal trade areas, commercial kitchen, ground floor cellar and four double bedrooms.
The venue most recently operated as a food-led public house offering a traditional ‘pub classic’ menu which was popular with destination diners. A loyal group of local residents also frequented the premises, contributing to its wet sales especially during the winter months. The business only ceased trading in recent months due to the owner’s health.
