Leisure and hospitality specialists Sidney Phillips have completed the letting of the Bay Horse Inn, County Durham.
The Bay Horse Inn occupies a prominent position in the highly regarded village of Brandon, which is situated a short distance to the southwest of Durham. Brandon was originally one of the seven townships within the ancient parish of Brancepeth and grew from a sparsely populated agricultural area into a populous mining district after the establishment of collieries and later coke and fireclay works. Until the 19th century Brandon village, formerly known as East Brandon, was one of the larger settlements in Brancepeth Parish.
The Bay Horse Inn is an attractive stone built public house boasting two bar areas and a restaurant come function room with a combined capacity of 106. Located in a separate building there are also 10 en suite letting bedroom which prove very popular with walkers and visitors to the area.

The Bay Horse Inn will become the sister pub to The Pub & Kitchen in Cassop, a highly regarded country village pub with a contemporary twist. The property has been let on a new free-of-tie lease agreement, enabling the incoming operator to source a wide range of wet products to best suit the clientele.
