Specialist hospitality agents, Sidney Phillips, have completed on the leasehold assignment of the Maltsters Country Inn. The stylish stone-built pub and restaurant, located in the Northamptonshire village of Badby, has been let to experienced operators AJA Inns of the Plough, Upper Boddington.
The Maltsters Country Inn occupies a detached three-storey property of part brick, part Northampton stone construction with a pitched slate tile roof, believed to date back to the mid-1700s.
The business was known for hosting a variety of functions and events, such as live music, quizzes and celebratory functions, which included birthdays, large parties and wedding receptions. The business’s main custom comes by way of a destination clientele from neighbouring villages and the town of Daventry. In addition, the business is well supported by the local community.
