Star Pubs & Bars have announced 30% reductions in rents for pubs within their core leased and tenanted estates in Wales and Scotland, in a welcome move to support businesses through additional Government restrictions.
The latest round of concessions came into effect from the 26th December in Wales and 27th December in Scotland when further restrictions were imposed of hospitality businesses in a bid to curb the spread of the Omicron variant.
Pubs in Wales and Scotland are currently restricted to table service only and one-meter social distancing, with no date of when these restrictions may be lifted announced to date.
The move has been greatly welcomed across Wales and Scotland, a gesture which has extended Star Pubs & Bars’ already generous £62m of rental support provided to its tenants since March 2020.
