Sidney Phillips sell North Lincolnshire village pub

The Butchers Arms, a closed public house situated in the village of West Halton in North Lincolnshire, has been sold through specialist pub agent Sidney Phillips.

West Halton can be found approximately 8 miles north of Scunthorpe, 9 miles from Barton-Upon-Humber and the Humber Bridge and close to the tidal rivers Ouse’s and Trent's confluence with the Humber Estuary. This area, known as the Alkborough Flats, is a popular location for both fishermen and bird watchers.

The Butchers Arms is a two-storey detached public house benefitting from three internal trade areas, a ground floor cellar, car park and a three-bedroom private accommodation across the first floor.

Zaine Lamont, Regional Valuations Manager for the Eastern Counties handled the sale and commented: “I am delighted to finalise the sale of the Butchers Arms in West Halton, and I am especially pleased as the property will continue under the ownership of an enthusiastic individual based in the local area, whose plans are to see the property maintain its place as the main amenity within the village.”

The pub previously operated under a tenanted operation until January 2025, but has now been purchased by an individual based from within the local area.

Sidney Phillips sold The Butchers Arms off a freehold asking price of Offers Over £150,000.
