How long have you worked in the industry, what was your first job?
58 years, starting as an articled pupil.
What is your favourite thing about working for Sidney Phillips?
The leisure and hospitality sector is ever changing, and no two days are the same. The location and appointment of our Head Office, overlooking the River Wye puts a spring in my step each morning.
What are your hobbies away from work?
I enjoy horseracing and support a number of charities in the sport. I was an amateur jockey for 20 years and have raced in a few poignant races in my time.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Angel Falls in Venezuela.
What was your first job?
Weighing and packing butter for the Co-Op.
What is your favourite film?
Moby Dick in 1956, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid a close second and the Shawshank Redemption.
If you had to pick a favourite project so far at your time with Sidney Phillips, what would it be?

What is your biggest fear?
Snakes.
