The Burston Crown occupies a three-storey detached Grade II listed brick building under a pan tile roof, believed to date back to 1580. The property benefits from its location on Mill Road and is the village's only public house. The village is situated in south Norfolk, three miles north of Diss, 20 miles south of Norwich and 2.5 miles west of the A140, which runs from the A14 near Needham Market to the A149 south of Cromer.
This 16th-century pub comprises four double bedrooms across two floors, a sizeable car park, a beer garden and three internal trade spaces.
Our departing clients have owned and operated the Burston Crown since August 2006, creating a successful high-turnover business. The venue has hosted various functions and events, such as live music, beer festivals, quizzes, and classic car and motorcycle meets.
This family-friendly business’s leading custom came from a destination dining clientele hailing from the nearby settlements of Norwich, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. Dining provision included a homemade classics menu with children's offering, Sunday lunches and themed BBQ evenings.
