The Plough, a closed destination food led public house situated in the northeast Derbyshire village of Brackenfield has been let through specialist pub agent, Sidney Phillips.
The Plough occupies a Grade II listed 16th Century detached two-storey building, benefitting from being the only public house in the village. It is located in an enviable position on the A615 Matlock Road where it enjoys a large amount of passing vehicular traffic.
The village of Brackenfield is predominantly agricultural, however does benefit from a number of nearby attractions including the Ogston Reservoir which provides multiple leisure activities including sailing, windsurfing and trout-fishing. It is especially well known for its bird-life hosting over 200 different species. Brackenfield itself benefits from a vehicle tyre shop, alpaca farm and holy Trinity Church built in 1856.
The property has been let to experienced operators who have a number of hospitality investments within Derbyshire including the Miners Arms, Carsington.
