Traditional wet-led Derbyshire pub set to re-open

The Eclipse Inn, a closed local community public house situated in the village of Loscoe, Heanor in Derbyshire has been sold through Commercial Property Specialists, Sidney Phillips.

This two-storey detached brick built public house, which benefits from 3 large trade spaces, sizeable car park and trade garden as well as 3 first floor double bedroom owners accommodation was sold to private operator Paul Cattermole who is looking to take his first steps in to the commercial property sector.

Paul comments, “I am delighted to have purchased The Eclipse Inn, Loscoe which gives me the opportunity to get stuck in to an exciting project, I am looking to keep it as a community wet led venue and am looking to have the property refurbished and open before September 2019, I look forward to welcoming not only the local community but also visitors from further afield”.

Zaine Lamont, Regional Valuations Manager for the Eastern Counties handled the sale and comments, “The Eclipse Inn represented a wonderful opportunity to acquire an empty non-trading public house which has the potential due to its location, to be a vibrant community drinking venue. Sidney Phillips sold The Eclipse Inn off a Freehold asking price of £225,000.
