The Rhoswenallt Inn, a busy village pub and restaurant situated in the village of Abernant in Aberdare has been sold through specialist business property adviser, Sidney Phillips.
The village of Abernant is located within the north of the Rhondda Cynon Taff Valley less than one mile from the southern border of the Brecon Beacons National Park and A465. The village was developed as a colliery and iron works and now serves as a very good residential area just to the north east of Aberdare.
The Rhoswenallt was acquired by our clients in 2013 and they immediately embarked upon a complete and comprehensive refurbishment programme to the entire premises. It is now appointed in excellent condition with quality contemporary interiors and an excellent trade garden with outstanding views of the surrounding valley. It benefits from a comfortable Lounge Bar (40), two section Restaurant (50), large Trade Garden (100) with delightful rural aspects, along with an immaculate three bedroom owners accommodation.
Ceiron Griffiths, Regional Valuations Manager for Wales handled the sale and comments “This well appointed and busy village pub and restaurant underwent a complete refurbishment under our clients tenure and is now appointed with quality contemporary interiors throughout. We have successfully negotiated the grant of a new free-of-tie lease agreement to a Brewery, well-known in the area, who will undoubtedly make this pub thrive once more.”
