Specialist hospitality agent Sidney Phillips has completed the sale of The Grapes, a traditional wet-led public house located in centre of the Leicestershire market town of Melton Mowbray. The town is best known for its culinary speciality, the Melton Mowbray pork pie, and is promoted as Britain's ‘Rural Capital of Food’.
The Grapes is a 16th century Grade II listed public house comprising of an open plan bar area, basement cellar, front trade patio and two-bedroom flat. The Grapes hosts a variety of events which include live music, bike nights and celebratory functions. The premises is particularly popular for its outdoor seating adjacent to the busy Market Place.
