The Business
Our husband and wife clients have owned and operated The Nags Head since June 2013 but now wish to offer the property to the freehold market in order to retire. As a consequence of the vendors’ ill-health, the business is traded as a lifestyle operation and our clients concede that a new operator could expand upon the limited opening hours and broaden the food menu (which only currently consists of Sunday lunches).
In spite of its limited opening hours, the business continues to support pool, skittles and darts teams, as well as a dominoes group. It also caters for various functions and events such as funeral wakes, birthday celebrations and lunch clubs. The pub sells a selection of real ales which are popular with both local and destination trade.
Opening hours:
Monday to Thursday 15:00 - 21:30
Friday 15:00 - 23:00
Saturday 12:00 - 23:00
Saturday 12:00 - 23:00
Sunday 12:00 - 21:30
Accounting information will be provided to interested applicants following a formal viewing. Subject to planning permission, the opportunity for change of use might be a viable option due to the property's sizeable plot and its location close to residential areas.
